Love my toys!
– May 5, 2017 Toby –
There is nothing better than getting home from a walk and attacking the nearest toy. I love to run and pounce, then flip it up in the air and try to catch it, then grab it and run toward the kitchen. I usually drop it then enter the kitchen for a snack; there’s always a snack after a walk.
After the snack is playtime. I run into the living room and grab my current favorite toy. It’s usually the newest one, but I do love the goose and the lamb. They fit very comfortably in my mouth. The chew on a rope is always good in the afternoon when a snack just isn’t enough and dinner isn’t for a while, so I grab the flavored end and dig in. Joanna will grab the rope and pull it out of my mouth and toss it and I give chase.
The small squeaky toys are my favorites as they make noise and fit in my mouth and they don’t hurt if they smack you in the nose. I hate the nose punch; sometimes it’s a chair or the corner of the wall that can send me into a tizzy, dizzy spell. Johnnie will give me a good head rub and a chest bump and then off we go. Sometimes they land softly on my back and kind of stick there for a few seconds as I spin to grab it before it rolls onto the floor and I pounce and flip it back for a toss. And the best are the ones I can make squeak by pushing down on them with my nose. Oh yeah!
